Founder Marc got his start at just 15 years old, working for his father’s pump business and learning the ropes from the ground up. With over 30 years of hands-on experience, Marc saw first-hand how crucial reliable water access was and how many rural customers were being let down by poor-quality products and unreliable service.
Turning experience into trusted solutions
Solar Pumptec began with an early connection to the pump industry.
In 2017, Marc launched
Solar Pumptec with a clear goal:
“To provide high-quality, solar-powered water pumping systems that customers could genuinely rely on.”
Partnering with Nastec
This passion for performance and customer care led Marc to partner with Nastec, an Italian company renowned for combining electronics and hydraulics to create innovative, efficient pumping solutions. It was the perfect match and the foundation of what would become Solar Pumptec’s core offering.
From Workshop to Workforce
Over the past several years, Marc has worked tirelessly to build the business, expanding Solar Pumptec’s offering to include grid system solutions and, in 2022, moving into a new warehouse with greater capacity and a more efficient workshop space.
What began as Marc working solo has now grown into a dedicated team of seven. Haley, Marc’s wife, joined in 2020, bringing her admin expertise and infectious energy, and each team member plays a vital role in keeping operations running seamlessly. We couldn’t do what we do today without their hard work and commitment.
