Next generation of motor on-board inverter.

Ideal for water booster sets, HVAC systems with circulating pumps and control of submersible pumps. It ensures:
-
Energy saving due to variable speed control.
-
Soft start and soft stop.
-
Extended system life and reliability.
-
Installation on humid and dusty environments made possible by IP55 (NEMA 4) protection degree.
-
Simplified installation on motor or wall.
-
Easy and fast commissioning thanks to initial configuration wizard.
-
High thermal and mechanical performance thanks to aluminium case and independent ventilation.

Extended system life and reliability.

The average speed of a pump driven by MIDA is inevitably lower than a comparable fixed speed pump. This reduces component wear such as bearings, bushings, seals, etc. MIDA also starts and stops the pump gently, reducing the mechanical stress on the shaft and impellers and avoiding water hammer. Hardware and software protections provided by MIDA prevent any damage to the pump and the system. At lower speeds, the system will also generate less noise.
Energy saving due to variable speed control.

The power consumed by the pump is proportional to the cube of its speed. Unlike traditional systems where the pump speed is fixed and controlled by the mains frequency (@ 50 Hz, about 3000 rpm), MIDA is able to vary the pump speed according to water demand. In the presence of low demand, MIDA controls the pump at a reduced speed, which consumes less power. For example, if the pump turns at 40 Hz (about 2400 rpm) instead the nominal 50 Hz (about 3000 rpm), power consumption would be half.

Complete pump protection

Built-in protections against:
-
Overvoltage and undervoltage.
-
Overcurrent and no load.
-
Dry running.
-
Overtemperature.

Motor on-board installation
MIDA can be installed directly on motor terminal box, after verification of coupling size.
The on-board motor installation is possible with both horizontal and vertical axis pumps.

Wall fixing

MIDA is cooled by an its dedicated cooling fan and it can be mounted to the wall through the use of 4 scews.
